Where i grew up in TN, was about 30 miles from this "Haunting". I was excited to see this movie, becuase as a kid, you know, we all heard these stories and legends and tales told around campfires. In fact, around here, its not even really considered a legend, as much as just part of history.
Well, what this movie did is completely bastardize and ruin something that could've been a really good story.
The ending it chose was completely unfounded and ridiculous. I hated this film.
