It wasnt even right...my voice is gone and I am sure my resting heartrate will permanently be about 10 beats higher.

I have seen so many muddy DH races in my years and you cant really compare the 2, but this looked so much more of a nightmare for these guys. I know what it takes to achieve brilliance in the mud and you could see the guys that were beat even before the gate dropped...it is soo cool to see the mental toughness of a "bad conditions" rider....
Man I love racing

Yeah, When RC fell the first time and took FOREVER to get going, he headed back to the turn to turn around and go...falls over again, it was sad, then some prick behind me CHEERS!!! when he fell again.
Fans are weird. Especially dbl dutch fans ;-)

RC still has some haters out there. Some fans have no idea. They can only dream to strap on the helmet and go into battle. RC's the hardest working racer in the MX business, and he does it with class.

Now if DH can step it up, and get some marketing gurus to take note of our sport we might be on the same page as SX/MX one day!

people need to show respect. Whether you (the fan) like the guy or not, is mute.....show respect to the guys that's got skills. Granted he used to be a bit cocky back in the day, but he's been showing a lot of class & sportsmanship for a long time now.

A good buddy of mine (who's been in the MX industry forever) really isn't a fan of RC... but he was screaming & cheering for him last night...he definately recognizes the talent. RC's got tons of skills & deserves all the praise. When top supercross pros are rolling & sliding out everywhere, then RC comes in an Triples a section, and blasts through the whoops like they're dry.....my jaw dropped open. the guy's freakin amazing!

Yeah, there are idiots out there....it's just like Nascar & other sports where the fans get super carried away. it's like when bubba came up to supercross...there's guys (industry guys no less) cheering when he crashed hard (in vegas & knocked himself out)...yelling & laughing at him & screaming the "N" word. IT JUST DISGUSTS ME!

ANYWAY, i would love to see good old fashing close & tight racing, no matter who ended up winning (...as long it's my rider who wins! :p ;) :thumb:) rather than someone ending up crashing out.

I don't like to see anyone crash. However, I was glad Bubba didn't win. He is the biggest ego-maniac. I think he puts on a good show, but he could skip the talk about how he is the greatest.

I was going crazy when MC was our front during the heat. I want to see him get a win this year. And Pastrana, all the TP haters can shut up now. He came out and was looking good.

In dry conditions with a technical course, it's going to be Reed, Bubba, Pastrana or MC. Each of them is super smooth and has the speed. RC is super fit, but each of the above rides technically better.

I can only dream though. When I line up for a 125C race, most of the other racers are half my age (I'm 32). Again, I was stoked to see the old man (33) MC out there with the little kids.

"Bubba is the biggest ego-maniac"
Thats your opinion-but I highly disagree. Have you met him and hung out with him? Or is this your "pro" spectator opinion? When people make judgements like this about a person of his stature I wish I could place them in that persons shoes for 5 minutes and see how they deal with the situation. I have heard for years in MTBing that so and so, or mr this and miss that has "attitude" or whatever...and its usually not the case when you get to know people....but its all good, its the like/dislike stuff that make us goto the races and get excited....so nevermind what i just said ;-)

I agree with the respect the riders sentiment but do we have to apply that sentiment to Reed. He really made memad with the trash talk when he first came on the scene. Kind of the same reason I don't much care for Bubba. Other than that go Mike Brown! And yes I would love to see MC get a win. He is one of my favorites.

Mike Brown is overseas racing 125cc . He wouldn't last a single lap against the current crop of 250 pilots. Sorry but thats that truth, and I love the guys effort and spirit. He knew he couldn't cut it here in the 250 class, so he chased the check and the championship across the pond.

Everyone just wait till next week. Phoenix will be dry and the real cream will rise to the top. Bubba is not an ego-maniac. He's just confident. If any of us had his skills, we'd be the exact same way. Imagine yourself winning a pro DH by 1:00 plus. thats what he's been doing for the last 2 years. He's the best that ever piloted a 125, and is just what the sport needs as far as marketing goes. We can only hope it trickles down to DH and our riders can actually make a living off riding their bikes. Until then, we'll all have to have to have our part time jobs that let us off to travel to nats and hope for low credit card interest rates.

You missed it today on ESPN2. 12pm EST. Pics will be up shortly on supercross.cc.com They have a great gallery of pictures from pro photographers.

Phoenix is the race to watch for fresh SX fans. Track will be dry, and the true SX skills will shine. It'll be the real 'opener' for sure.
