    Went last night was pretty cool the stadium was pretty full and the show put on before and during was good!

    David Bailey was paralized from a crash in 1987, the bar is keeping his legs strapped to the bike.

    The retro theme and track was brought together from the epic race/battle between Baily and Rick Johnson in 1986.

    That answers my first question. My second question is why the fork has stanchion boots and leg guards.

    The boots are just for show. Older bikes didn't have inverted forks. If you notice, the Honda has retro graphics and color scheme.

    That's what I'm getting from the photo of the bike.
