i'm pretty sure they've offered this previously, limited to 1* with external cups top and bottom. i'd email them and double check - it may have been a 'made to order' situation.

Doesn't cane creek make one?

First one in the list at the bottom.

Crown Race Seat Dia. 30.015mm
That's the flare of a 1 1/8 isn't it?

if I had the time, I would make you one :)
I know. :D I'm not sure I could pay you enough for a one off to make it worth your time. There's obviously a future in this particular configuration though. Might be worth getting some together.

I just sent an email to works. We'll see what they've got squirreled away that they're not advertising.

Thanks guys!

My buddy can make you one. I get him to make me all sorts of headsets that don't exist. My trail bike currently has a -2° headset with a tapered fork and 44mm x 55mm headtube. Let me know if you want his email address.

Having similar trouble, wanting to slacken my Genius 720 a bit, ZS44/55 headtube and a tapered steerer.
Tried to send a private message to you @buckoW but forum had a bad day complaining about full inbox etc.
Works components have been silent towards me, too.

Rick from works did get back to me on the 4th saying they'd have something up on their website in 7-10 days. That's pretty much now so just keep an eye on their site.

I'm still waiting too. Buckow's buddy didn't think he could come up with anything offset because of how little room there was with the tapered steerer. I kind of agree with him so I'm curious to see how works went about it.

I have a -2* in my M size Genius. The L size has a longer HT so my buddy could get a max of -1.2*. What size is your frame? I'll pm you his email address and you can ask him.

Kidwoo- you wanted offset and angle? What if you have external bearings? We did one for Brendan recently like that.

As of October 4 this new headset will be on their site in two weeks.

They suck at answering emails so I just bought some offset shock reducers until I can get one machined myself. I'm kind of tired of trying to convince someone to take my money.

Sergio never got back to you? I had another one made since I last checked this thread but for a longer head tube so we could only do 1° slacker.

No he got back to me.

The mockup he had wasn't angled/offset, it was just tall. He (understandably) wasn't comfortable with bringing the steerer so close to the edge of the cups that the walls and bearing would have to get thin. It was basically just a tall stacked lower cup. I'm pretty sure I could find something that did the same thing without all the extra one-off machining work.

But it's ski season now. I was just going to keep watching the works site because they supposedly already did a run of these and have a template. The last email response I got from them said they'd have another run up on the site in October. Maybe they meant 2014. Right now the reducers on my shock get a little of it done.
