So here's my concern. I cracked my Cake4 frame, and received a Fuel EX9 for a warranty replacement. I'm aware of the tapered head tube, and the shop ordered an adapter for it for my fork. The bottom bracket I'm told is a BB91. I still want to run my current Race Face cranks, and want to confirm that the cranks/bb will be compatible. Yes, I know there's another thread in this same forum, and I've searched and found another similar reply. Third times the charm, and will help me sleep better, if the gang here at RM will put their seal of approval to this.

You shouln't have any compatibility issues with your setup if you are using X-Type Race Face cranks.

If you are using the older isis or square taper cranks then you will have to buy new cranks.

Thanks for the input. Yes, it is the newer x-type, so it's good to know I won't have to buy another crankset. Now I can sleep at night................
