not sure how strong or light it is, but that could be dope with the shuttles by my house, ride to the mtn, up the mtn (street legal) ride down normally, repeat! I cant speak for that product itself, but the idea is great.

As demo 9 says, it can be an alternative to have a friend with a van doing 10' rides back and forth.
The problem is that, while this technology isn't new at all, still has room for a lot of improvement. So far, all e-conversions I've seen look clumsy, heavy, and mediocre-performing, but it's a matter of time to have a quick-install, light & compact motor combo that we'll plug to our bikes to shuttle during trainings and unplug during races and bikepark days.

I believe e-bikes have their place and will be beneficial for us in general, boosting bike use both in private businesses (package & food delivery, mail, etc.) and public in general (long commutes, people with diminished abilities, etc.). But for me, they are bikes as long as the human is the main means of power and the motor just a "help".

To sum up; yes, I'd throw a leg over that. :D

Looks way better than a hub motor design. My e-bike had the same battery specs: 48V, 12 Ah, LiFePO4.
