it's googles new email thing. by allowing only a few people in and then giving them the ability to get others in, it creates a hype, therefore getting more people involved the if they had simply said "hey, we at google have a new email thingy, come get it if you want it."

I'm not cool enough to be involved in anything like that of course, so I'll just sit over here, by myself. looking and laughing...... :evil:
