Where's Ted Stephens from? Guilt by association....
When was TS considered a friends, endorser, or ally of her? She is known for taking on corruption.

He has not "fallen", but forgot to mention the "patriotic" William Ayers.

BTW, did you notice at the DNC, nobody major came out to talk about him as a person. Only his own family, came out to vouch for Barry's character.

According to the article, Kwame gave him a hug at a rally and Barack made some dumb statement saying he's a great guy.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin began building clout in her state’s political circles in part by serving as a director of an independent political group organized by the now embattled Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens.

Palin’s name is listed on 2003 incorporation papers of the “Ted Stevens Excellence in Public Service, Inc.,” a 527 group that could raise unlimited funds from corporate donors. The group was designed to serve as a political boot camp for Republican women in the state. She served as one of three directors until June 2005, when her name was replaced on state filings.

Palin’s relationship with Alaska’s senior senator may be one of the more complicated aspects of her new position as Sen. John McCain’s running mate; Stevens was indicted in July 2008 on seven counts of corruption.
It wasn't like she was Stevens' stooge, just like Barack is not Kwame's homeboy.

I didn't notice anyone vouching for Obama's character. I was too stunned by the 80,000 people yelling at the top of their lungs for Obama.

Well then it must be true. Because she and the Republican party say so. Her and Stevens only clashed when national pressure regarding the bridge to nowhere became so great she had to change her mind and denounce it (only to take the money under a more general earmark)

Because they were busy focusing on policy. It's a consistent mistake by the democrats to not spend more time defining themselves. Those definitions are totally irrelevant to the problems they are trying solve once in office, but essential to surviving an election where the electorate is too stupid to actually consider issues and just picks the candidate they like. Which is why the republican party spends so much time defining themselves and their opponents, while completely avoiding any discussion of actual policy.

Did you notice that the people talking about Palin's character actually had no basis from which to judge her character based on their own experience? They were just spouting a Hollywood storyline that the party decided would fit Palin. For ****s sake Fred Thomson described McCain's imprisonment in detail, and the guy doesn't have a goddamn clue what went down there. Someone major talking about your character only means someone major had that written into their speech.

Was that before or after he parted the seas?
For most Americans, it just seemed like it.

I was mesmerized by the amount of white people dancing badly at the RNC.

At least at DNC, there were lots of black people getting down for the whites to imitate.
