Looks promising. I'll probably always think its worse than the old combo of soft cheap alu rims + tubes, but as I get older and lazier, rebuilding wheels on the regular sounds shitty. This seems like a pretty solid way of getting to run tubeless without it being terrible (e.g. you actually can run slightly lower pressure and not constantly burp/pinch flat/shred tires) and it doesn't get that many flats. Cushcore was too expensive for me to appreciate, this seems more manageable.

cutting isn't the problem, finding a way to reattach the cut ends is what'll prove tricky

yes, but that doesn't stop them from having a distributor network for it.

Luckily round these parts, no inserts are necessary. Or maybe I just don't run dumb pressures; I've never pinch flatted.

i'm a little rusty on the actual mechanics, but this is closed cell foam, so I believe the air trapped inside the foam cells will shrink when it is placed in an environment under increased air pressure.

give the size of air cell pockets in foam and the low pressures mtb tire's deal with, i suspect there wouldn't be enough shrinkage for that to occur.

Your not trying hard enough.
I have pinch flatted on the collector at Blue for F sakes.
You hit the rock in front of the drop and pre-hop, send the drop deep, then hit the embedded rock by the little g-out on the run-out.

Job done one rear snakebite.

Nukeproof dist = Hotlines
CRC bought Hotlines (a good while back now)
This is why Nukeproof stuff is almost always discounted at CRC and not in LBSs

25 years or so ago while working in a bike shop I put an order in to Hotlines for some Azonic stuff and forgot to tell the owner. A few days later and on my day off a package from Hotlines turned up with my name on it.
When I returned to work the shop owner had seen the name "Hotlines" and thought i'd been ordering porn for myself through the shop.
