[DiRt DeViL]

Today the Little DeViL participated on his first track race, we visited the track last week and rode our roadies on it as training but had no clue on the types of races that he'll be doing.

For us the banking was intimidating, more to me than him but right at the first lap he was climbing the banking and riding on the whole course. It took me a bit more time to get brave and ride the banking but after some encouraging words from the kid I did it (come on dad, don't be a wuss) and to our surprise we both liked it.

He participated on the 200m, 400m and chase finishing 2nd on every race.

The velodrome was build during the sixties on the town of Carolina in Puerto Rico. Was used for the 1979 Pan Am games and was abandoned until know that we're trying to revive it.

The temp was on the high 80's yesterday, beatiful but warm day.
