Now, you may or may not already know - I got to the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Because of some hole in windows security, they had to lock out all computers from the network untill they've been patched with the latest fix. So, today at work I tried logging into the wireless network through my laptop and I got the message. Of course, I can't update windows because I've installed that particular one so many times and the license is expired. This meant I needed a new copy of XP Professional.
So, I ran over to the book store - $4.50 for the upgrade.
Thats right, Four dollars and fifty cents for XP Professional.
Sweet!
Does every college offer such a rediculous deal on software?

I thought Microsoft software was free? :evil:
