I got out of the house before sunrise this morning. It was looking like a great morning for a ride until a 1/2 mile from the park when I encountered wet roads -- the trails are covered with slimestone that makes for interesting riding when wet -- but when I hit the trails they were still on the dry side. I decided it would be wise to stay on the less technical trails and just enjoy the ride. Got in a good hour and half before it really started raining. As soon as I leave the park the rain stops and the roads are dry. Oh well, it was a good ride and it isn't very often that I get to ride on semi slick trails without worrying about tearing them up.
