trying to decide whether or not to upgrade my intense tracer frame
I have the bike down to 26 pounds
nothing special as far as parts just things I've picked up over the last few years
all XTR '07 group
Sid race '03 fork
float rl pushed rear shock
crossmax xl wheelset
thomson stem & post

great climber, lousy going down
I've been told by Intense to upgrade to a Fox Float fork and an RP23 but the cost of those 2 pieces alone would be a new frame and I could always buy whatever fork
any suggestions?

by the way I want to have the ability of doing more technical trails than what I usually do:
til now it's been fire roads, occasionally a few logs to jump, nothing really serious
and I'm not sure the tracer frame has enough travel for that
what's a smart move to upgrade to?

I own a float fork and a revelation and I can tell you the revelation is just as good as the float and a few bucks cheaper. But to be honest I might look for a new or new used frame if i were oyu.Otherwise the revelation would be a good alternative to the float at the same weight.
