After getting screwed over by Derbys one way system we eventually arrived at the venue. I missed the first 15 mins or so, so cant comment on that. The pub was packed, all the big UK names were there and if you were short you couldnt see jack it was that packed.
Video was good overall, pretty slick in some places with good varied footage, mostly of UK riders and MBUK team, but thats hardly a bad thing, they all know how to ride a bike. Its plenty DH orientated so you'll like that, theres some DJing, street and lake jump sections as well as lots of NPS rounds in the extras. Editing was good, lots of slow mo and it didnt look sped up at all, speaking to the guy who made the film (whos name ive shamefully forgotten due to two too many tequilas) insists its not and im inclined to believe him.
Obviously its not got the slickness or mood of the collective, or the production values/varied scenery of the Earthed series (its him, his gf and one canon camera) but overall it looks good for a second attempt from a non biker. It has the feel of one of the Sprung videos, somewhere between 2/3, theyre getting there and putting experience under there belts.
Its worth the buy, the musics likeable and im getting bored of the NWD series now, so if you want some gravity fed action stick this in your stocking this Christmas.
