I've ridden up there quite a bit on the NH side. The terrain is amazing and beautiful. That looks like a good ride.

What part?

We rent a house in Ocean Park every year. Literally the most relaxing vacation I have ever been on. It is small town Americana. Spend the day at the beach, go to the Soda Fountain, if you do want to do touristy stuff that is a close drive, but the town is isolated from all the crowds and whatnot. Highly recommend. Also bypassing the Mass turnpike and driving through Vermont only adds to the relaxation which says something being in the car for 9 hours each way.

Gotcha. Agreed Portland is a cool town too. I have family in Maine but much farther north.

Overnighting at Peter Estin hut from Eagle was a good fun route for a simple bikepacking trip.

I was in Switzerland last week. What a beautiful place. You need to take pictures and share. My next big ride will be 150km gravel ride on my birthday on the 23 in Sweden. I think it will be a good way to celebrate.

I find butcher ranch way too pedestrian. I prefer going over to Pauley creek via gold lake down Pauley then up Big Boulder fire road to the top and drop down Big Boulder singletrack to the summit of second and third divide. from there decide which one i feel like taking down to First Divide. That's 22 mile run. then go back up on the shuttle and drop down butcher and take which ever of third or second divide I did not take the first time and try not to die Its about a 40 mile day with 10000 feet of descending and 2000 of climbing. Its one of the reasons I am hammering on the road bike all winter.If i can do 75 mile road rides with ease I can survive doing two runs at Downiville in a day

I prefer the new-in-2017 Gold Valley Rim trail over to babyheads, which is actually a little tougher but has more singletrack, but yeah that's a good Saturday for sure. Then go ride Mt. Elwell from Graeagle up through the Lakes Basin on Sunday. (Although this year it looks like we won't be able to ride in the high country until July.)

Aside from the usual awesomeness, planning to finally get back to Moab later in the summer.
