Any 40 plus riders here?

Turned 45 in july. Other than getting hurt a little easier, I'm in better shape than I was in my 20's. There is definitely a more acute sense of mortality but its a good thing. It gives you a better perspective of things and keeps you from being stupid.

Your forties of today are like being in your 20's 30-40 years ago?

People are living a lot longer and healthier.

The real bottom line though is attitude and state of mind. I remember people in high school that seemed old at the time and then I know people now in their 40-50's that totally young and can hang with the best of them, if not drop them.

Every time I go for a ride it is like I'm a kid again. My girlfriend tells me that I look ten years younger after returning from a good ride.
