There is lots of XC riding in the area

www.openspace.org - Lots of XC up on Skyline especially El Corte de Madera.

Waterdog is the closest spot, at least during rush hour traffic. There is a huge ride out of Passion Trail Bikes passiontrailbikes.com.

waterdog isn't the closest spot. you can get to demo forrest in the same amount of time it takes to get to waterdog with traffic. stevens canyon up to saratoga gap is the closest. it's only 10 minutes from MV.
