I've got a brand new Tomahawk in the garage... it's going to replace a Nobby Nic on my wife's bike, so it couldn't really be much worse. 
Any Feedback on Maxxis Ardent or Icon

I didn't read the whole thread so this could be redundant. Ardent was ok on the rear, not better traction than a DHF but rolled fast and broke free predictably. Maybe if we had any regular moisture it would be better. My only experience with the Ikon was when it was the stock tire on a Yeti demo and it was awful.

My current preference: TRS+ front, Slaughter GRID rear (or Aggressor in sloppy weather)
Ardents rock if you love two wheel drifting through berms. The predictability of where they break traction makes FlowEasy™ trails more entertaining.
I bought the tires but ended up giving all my unridabro 26" to unsuspecting communists who didn't have the will to say now... that was like last year.
