new to mammoth and looking for some freeride/downhillers to ride the mountain with.

I live up in tahoe but ride mammoth a few times a summer. I'd go now but I done busted myself......at mammoth. The only person I know who rides there regularly is a younger guy by the name of James who lives in bishop. He's a good person to know. I'll be down there hopefully before too long since I'd rather try out my healed self there before northstar. I'll let you know when that happens. If you haven't found it yet, go ride lower rock creek. It's a fun xc trail that's rougher than most of the dh stuff at mammoth, just not as steep.

It's pretty mild there compared to N* isn't it? I might tag along w/you when you decide to try out your newly healed bones.

Yup. You can have a relaxing run at mammoth. Not the case at northstar as you know. Mammoth has rough "sections".
