Been riding this rig for a few years now:

And now that im shifting into more a of a DJ/street type style, but don't really have the insane funds to buy a proper hardtail if i wanted to (Still love my ride).

I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how i could lighten my bike up a bit.

Right now its at 36.5 which is quite heavy obviously, never really given me problems in the past just wondering if anybody has any ideas. Only modification is that i opted for a single ring setup.

Thanks!

Id have to agree if you want a dj bike that just isnt gonna cut it, but if you want to lighten it up really you could change basicly any part of that bike, depending on where you ride single ply tires and light tubes is good weight to shave, then little things like seat, bar, pedals and then bigger things like fork forsure, cranks, wheel set.
