X-games are coming up. They will be essentially re-runing the Rim of the World Rally, but with a better superspecial stage layout.

Also RIM is an anual event, and a damn good rally to attend.

They may be a little overexposed, but I dont feel like shopping them. The clouds that day pissed me off, had to keep changing settings.

what setup were you running?

I was using a Canon 20D, 300mm f/2.8 IS USM, 70 - 200 f/2.8 IS USM, 24 - 70 f/2.8 USM, and once in awhile I would throw on the 1.4 extender. I use mostly the 70 - 200, actually about 80%, I use the 24-70 for mostly all my panning. Sometimes they don't like me being to close to the rally cars. So I just bust out the 300 with the extender. I'm not really even suposed to be out on the field, I can't sign a waiver. :wonky2:

I have a hard enough time taking a decent picture of a stationary object....

I tried drag races....I suck at panning so waited till they were resting...

I really like that first shot, I bet your fine at panning. Everyone thinks they suck at first. Just start with a high shutter speed and work your way down adjusting to the light lvls. I started panning at 1000.My brother-in-law has a shot he took at Road Atlanta at 50, it has to be the sharpest picture I have ever seen, and it was at night time so the rotors were blairing red, lights in the background where blurred. Was the best shot I've ever seen.

I really dig them, but a lot look underexposed...Photochop time? I know that helps me a lot when I under/overexpose crap.

Yeah they're really underexposed on some. I did'nt feel like getting up and going to the desktop to edit them.

i didn't see an overexposed or at least blown out one in the whole bunch. quite a few were underexposed, however, +/- too much contrast?
