I recently upgraded from a 1997 heckler frame to a 2005 thanks to the Santa Cruz crash replacement. For the time being I'm just running the Fox Vanilla R from the old bike on it. The 450# spring that was fine on the old bike is waaay too soft for the new one. I don't know exactly what size I need, I think either a 550 or a 600.
Does anybody have an old spring lying around that they'd sell for cheap? I'm gonna save up my pennies for a new, better shock at some point, so I don't want to spend any more than I have to on this old thing. It's a 2.25 stroke shock.
