I have the hub in question on a Modo (double wide) wheelset. The hub isn't working properly and I'm trying to determine why. When you look at the hub from the rear (pic) you have the conical spacer, the hub body itself, and then the freewheel side. On the freewheel side is a small spacer-type thing (its got cone wrench slots on it) that can be removed from the inner hub axle itself. My 'spacer thing' likes to ALWAYS come loose and tighten itself onto the freewheel bearing, thus locking the cassette up. I've inspected it, and nothing seems to work. Too loose and its wobbles, too tight and it locks up.

Does anyone know the correct setup for this hub, and specifically, the goofy piece in question?

I had that problem when trying to switch the spacer thing from another 135 hub. Seems Ringle has different spacers that somehow one locked the frwheel and the old one didn't. Those spacers are alum and always bend in around the outer edges from the pressure up against the frame. call Ringle and get the skinny.
