it was totally amazing, when asked a question... he actually (gasp), answered with a full response... to the question.

in all seriousness, I was very impressed with how he handled himself on the show. anyone else see it?

He did seem to have actual answers. I am not a Kerry fan but he did seem a whole helluva lot smarter then Mr. Bush did during his press conference last week. He is a smart guy who seems to know his crap.....jdcamb

When was it? I was out in the desert camping all weekend.

Did he actually have answers? Or broad statements that seem to answer the question but mean nothing.....j/k :) I wish I could have seen it. :(

I believe it is on again tonight at like 10 and 1AM EST. check it out and tell me what you all think. I'm not saying he was perfect, but I like a lot of what he had to say ( and how he said it too).

I stopped reading the transcript there. I get frustrated easily with out right lies

Kerry: "He can't come and talk about keeping the promise to our children and our schools because he broke it and he doesn't fund it."
It's possible he's referring to the fact that No Child Left behind is costing schools more than any new money that may be filtering to them from the Federal Department of Education. His wording makes more sense in that context than the context of the DNC ad and FactCheck rebuttal.

We he had articulate answers.....well more like ideals....well more like what everyone wants to hear.

I read the transcript last night. Inbetween the attacks on Bush in response to questions of Kerry, his idealogical ideas of what he is going to do with no plan based in reality, and out right avoidances...........

he answered a few questions.

Reading the transcript you realize how annoying conversation looks on paper. All the interuptions from both sides and incomplete thoughts was annoying.

Apperantly Kerry is a changed man....all he did in the past was because he was young and angry and so it doesn't have anything to do with what he does today. Nevermind testifying to events that he admits were false and exagerated. It fit his agenda at the time. He didn't appologize so I guess he has a back bone or just doesn't see anything wrong with it......

How long was teh program? It took me forever to read it. :) Seriously I was thinking "man I wish I could just listen to this instead of pickit apart in a transcript"

Overall:
- He answered questions, kinda
- He didn't really answer questions...mostly
- He attacked Bush :thumb:
- He directed questions about what he will do, to what Bush isn't doing.... (answer the Q please you want us to pick you for Pres)
- His foriegn policy "ideas" are nice but I fear they are weighted heavily that he is the worlds best friend and everyone will rush to his side (I am skeptical)
- He still has them foriegn leaders (who will remain nameless  ) saying they need him. Yeah, and some Canadian born man in north Seattle whos wife just had a baby wants to be my love slave.......not naming any names. ;)
- His budgeting plans are arguable....his sources for $ are at best questionable. Cutting taxes yet funding the countinueing war on terror (oops "police action"...did anyone else see the Vietnam similarity?) He would promise a goal for jobs etc because "we don't know what will happen...there could be a war". Hmmm you think that wold be hard to do with a war....hmmm OK lets attack Bush again.........

I am dissapointed I didn't watch the video. I would love to see him speak but I fear I would have read more into it than I did with the manuscripts. Just from the manuscripts....I'd say erry is inbetween Slick Willy and Bush in his public speaking ability....atleast Clinton was someone his supporters could beleive in.....
