Coach Weis is going to make JoePa look like the geriatric, confused old man that he is. Notre Dame wins by a minimum 10 points. Book it!

yep - my kids will go down for their naps at 3:25!
Sweet!

We bagged the goup ride for Saturday. I'm going to still ride though. I had a great ride last night, all we did was ride the roads around but it felt so good to give my lungs and legs a nice long steady workout.

I'm hoping to so some hiking with the pooch Sunday morning.

Arent you catholic?
Ha!
I love how the part of PA my family is from they are either devout (sp?) Notre Dame fans simply because they are Catholic or they are devout Penn State fans because they went to school there.

All of my aunts and uncles and my grandparents on my mom's side graduated from Penn State, as did my mom and my brother is currently enrolled. You could say we're a Penn State family.

Well, Im Polish (like you) so all my family is Catholic, and all from Chicago, so theyre all ND fans. I tend to like SEC football most. Im more a UT/Alabama/Vandy fan, but I like ND.

It was fun when Penn State and ND played in the same league.

Up sh*t creek, without a paddle
PSU's linebackers are going to eat quinn for lunch.
I predict at least 4 missed sacks cause Quinn'll forearm shiver the LB's.

ND is way overrated. Almost every game of theirs is televised. Not saying they're a bad team at all. They're potent, just that they're preseason ranking is not accurate at all.

It'll be a good game, looking forward to it. Go Irish. Screw the religious aspect, I'm half Irish, I'm going to drink like a fish, scream at the t.v., and by the end of the game if the jerseys don't look green to me, I haven't drank enough.

Now THAT'S a fan!

I'll be watching the game in all it's HD glory. I would love nothing more than to see PSU beat ND and OSU only to face off with an undefeated Michigan in October for the 8:00 kickoff. This will be a close one but I think the speed at wide receiver will expose the ND secondary.

I was very happy with the way ND looked today. Very well rounded, a few drops and a few misses, but solid compared to where they were a few years ago.

I am Irish and was raised Catholic, so I am required to watch ND. (fact is, I've watched them since '77 when I was old enough to understand football and enjoy them every year)

ND looked good today after they got warmed up a bit. For the life of me, I don't understand why PSU didn't bring pressure consistently on Quinn. They rushed 3 and dropped 8 for the most part trying to prevent the big play against the young corners. GT created the blueprint to rattle Quinn and PSU watched tape from last year when ND scored often on the long ball. Penn State was next week to get things back on track before heading to the Horseshoe.

So I went to the Red Sox game yesterday and we hung out in the crowded Bostom Beer Works for a couple hours before the game. Both the Boston College/Clemson and Notre Dame/Penn State games were on the TV's. When ND did something good, the place got very loud with people cheering. When BC did something good, you literally didn't hear one person cheer. I found that very interesting seeing how we were in BOSTON.
