does ANYBODY know of ANY DH races that are happening anymore this year (2004) (besides the NORBA one in idaho this weekend) in Seattle (Washington or closely surrounding area)

How about checking the BC race schedule, I think they have a web site site and some of the races are close to Vancouver which is only a couple of hours away.

the only races i can think of would be up in bc, i'm down south so i dont really pay any attention to the race schedule for the far north.

Okay... in BC there's a race at Hemlock this weekend. Then on the 8th August there's a race on Vancouver Island at Cumberland. That'll cost you all of $30 to race, relaxed atmostphere and wicked courses. Then at the end of August there's a race at Mount Washington on Vancouver Island again, this is the BC Cup finals. After that it's pretty much it for racing, though the Island series does have a race in the Fall. Check out cycling BC for a calendar of all the races.
