our local shop here is an astrix dealer and i have gotten to ride several different hucksters. these have been built up any where from full on dh to big ass trailbike. they ride pretty plush if you want them to, alot of the guys around here run them pretty stiff because we only have drops to flat around here, and they are still pretty smooth.
We've been getting a great response from everyone that has got to spend time on the Huckster. We had a great response from people spending time on it at dirt demo recently at Interbike. For 4 other peoples opinions on the Huckster you can also check out the Summer issue of Flow magazine. The guys in Texas have been loving them from all the feed back we have gotten and just recent in Arizona we have been hearing from riders about their Hucksters and how they enjoy the ride. Another forum with addition rider comments and pictures is on MTBR's forum. And today I too mine out for a quick ride up White Ranch before the weatherman's snow prediction ever comes true around here.
yeah the flow issue review wasn't very good, IMO. I have been looking for solid reviews on these bikes for a long time, and they do seem to deliver. I have been waiting for somebody to take the plunge. If they had a different shock when they came out I would have bought one...now I have no money. Guess it don't matter
i think It's great that you guys decided to spec the stratos el jefe on your havoc frame. what was it that made you choose the stratos over the other shock brands?
