Went shuttling in the Auburn ravine last weekend durring the downpours!
Wasn't so bad. It was 55degrees when we were driving out through town at 1:30.
Lot's of water, so much so that there wasn't much mud, at least not anything that stuck to you or your bike for long.
We did Powerline as the last run and that one steep off-camber to the right section that everyone blows through even when the conditions are perfect, well, it ate both of us and spit us downhill 10 plus feet off trail covered in mud.
By the time we pedaled back to the pickup spot, we were clean! The rain was heavy!
The Auburn area drains real well so riding all year round is the norm.
Not sure about this weekend.....I know a few guys are heading to Rockville for a quickie tomorrow morning...but not me.:mumble: gotta work a few hours.
