Of waiting for a new frame or bike? I ordered my new frame back in December and was told it would be available in 2 weeks. A whole bunch of "two weeks" later and the current status is now early to mid March! I have all my parts lined up except the frame, even things I thought would be harder to get.

Now before you all bitch about the riding season, where I live this is the best time of year to ride.

Anyways I am just aggravated not having a big bike and having to ride my trail bike. I guess I at least have a bike to ride and it could be worse, I could be waiting for a Karpiel!

You have to come to realize that's how this industry works and a bunch of others out there. Just learn to not trash or sell your old bike til you get your new one and you wont be pissed anymore!

I thought you were ordering that thing for when you actually leave South Florida. You dont actually ride anyway. Your trail bike is capable of doing 95% of everything around here. You weigh 137lbs, put flats (since you will complain about clipless) on your Switchblade and go to town.

i used be just like you. till i cancelled my order and bought something else.

Problem is I can't find ANYTHING that has all the qualitys of the frame I ordered, plus with the killer price I am getting it makes it even more untouchable.

I have not been so excited about getting a new bike in a while but this one has me like a kid on Christmas Eve.

Arrrrrgh!

It's not a killer price if you can't actually take delivery of the item. I've gotten pretty cynical about these things...

Umm 155lbs, don't make me skinnier than I already am. I have been riding clipless lately. I do actually ride, you just haven't seen me (been riding at weird times).

It works great for trail riding (I am actually enjoy riding trail again) but there is no way my SB will hold up to repeated abuse from El Doble or the repeated cases of Big Nasty.

Iron Horse framesets are shipping out after the complete bikes ship out right?

I don't know when the completes are going out but I have been told the framesets are now supposed to go out mid March.

I know it how it works but I am still aggrivated. I already sold my old bike over a month ago. :( I should have held on to it longer.

Where does one ride a DH bike in Florida?
There are a few places and riding where a "BIG" bike make sense, if you have the Cajones to use it. Not a DH bike, but a big bike none the less.

I hear ya on that but to my amazement they have a few places with ladders and bridges and even some drops worthy of a huck machine.

I'm just traveling through and dude, florida gets a bad wrap re: free ride.
And yes Salami is right b\c this is their best season 2 ride.

I plan on riding it a lot on the local trails. Since we have no hills it shouldn't be to bad. I am also planning on traveling as much as possible this summer. I hoping to enter my first race this year but it sure as hell won't be competitve for me. If I can finish and not break my bike or my body I would be happy. :D

Where the hell is that? South of Miami I am guessing. I don't think I will be at Markam Saturday, I am supposed to be out of town. When you do see me I will be on a blue SB unless some miracle happens soon.

Yeap, it does. But it is the middle of February and the frames haven't shipped yet and according to Iron Horse it won't be until the first to second week of March.

I know the feeling well. It will arrive, and it'll feel that much better when it does after you waited.

I'm currently riding a rigid 24" bmx with no brakes. I didn't want to bring my nice bike (gold bullit, very flashy) to school. Plus I have no time to ride. Don't say high school is easy. Not here.

I'm in the same boat, I was planning a ride this weekend but it's looking like my stuff won't show up in time. I've been waiting for my shock from fox (DHX 5) for over a month now, it finaly got "shipped" to the manufacturer of my frame and now he's waiting to fit the shock on the frame (new swingarm design...). AND I made the mistake of taking my old bike apart to get the parts ready for the new frame. So a 1-2 week wait is turning into 5 weeks....... At least I still have my hardtail together and there's real snow on the mountain to board.

My bike has been 2-3 weeks out since November 10th. Every response is the same "they are due mid [place next month here]" . Oh well, that is the industry.

Yeah - I wanted one since this time last year, and had my order in since November. I finally cancelled and ordered a full-susp MTX frame; it's hard to find a HT replacement for the Sovereign (weight/strength/flexibility).

Missing days of riding is worth extra money, in my opinion.

I picked up a barely used demo 9 now I need to wait to get everything else fixed or bought before i build it up. The suspense is killing me. I sit on my couch at night poking it and petting it while my girlfriend shakes her head in disappointment.

I keep hearing folks say "well that's the industry what can you do?"...with that attitude nothing will ever change...to me it's just out right lying. Unless they're (companies name here) are absolutely sure it will arrive within lets say 5 days of what they promise...they should just respond "I'm not sure" and let the buyer decide if their cool with it. I personally will not put up with it at all...someone takes a lot longer than they say...I just buy something else...there is always an alternative...but that's just me...D
