I was riding a little urban tonite, and I have a headache from what I think was the couple of drops to the sidewalk.

Normal, or am I a pvssy?

Yep, I get headaches doing drops to flat sometimes. Doesn't seem to be every one, though.

But then, I might be a pvssy too :p

I did take two ibuprofen and I slept 9 hours, 3 more than usual. But I usually do not get headaches, so I was a little shocked.

...this is EXACTLY what used to happen to me after a 2 hr. session of riding hard and maintaining a really low tuck on my bike while keeping my head cranked back to see forward.

The pain was exactly how you described, but it was mostly at the top of my head, and it would hurt so bad that it would almost fold me up.

I went to see a neurologist, and my scans came up neg. so he gathered that it was probably either a nerve getting pinched in my neck causing the pain to radiate up to the top of my head OR muscles in the neck/back of head (the ones that hold your head up - like when you are in a tuck or landing a drop) were compressing a nerve or vein temporarily causing the pain.

I do a lot of neck muscle strengthing exercises & I also make sure to loosen up the neck / back / shoulders before AND after every ride.

Haven't had much trouble since.

Yeah, I landed my drops ok. It was only 3 footers at most, and I had a long day before hand.

Shame its a brooklyn, it doesnt copy the drive train off a gt it-1 as that bike still has a rear mech, like all brooklyns.

Wow. It looks like 60lbs...

My hardtail, broke, so I have to ride urban on my Bullit. It's kind of fun, although my shock seems to bottom out really easily. I actually got up onto a picnic table with it a few weeks ago (I used to only be able to do it on my HT).

Me on my bullit:
