Towing the party line.
They haven't sold her ein a few years. They are just jumping back into the north american market, so you will be hard pressed to find anyonw who has dealt with them before.

Only thing I know about them is that most of the big wigs that are there, are the same people that led cannondale into bankruptcy the first time.

they are fairly big in the uk dh scene mainly because they are so cheap I seem to remember them being light too.
I am not sure about durability etc but the main pivot axle looks like it shares diameters with bic ball point pens.

mmmmhhhhh, the scott rep comes into my shop every now and then, he used to work there, i ride with him some times, hes way fast.

All i can say is that the bike is LIGHT! looks kinda goofy but pedals so nice, and is very fast, Mo beats me on my giant like a bat outa hell, and im no slow poke. The bike uses standar QR but is pretty stiff, handles like awesome, and pedals very nice.

did i mention the bike was light? :blah:

I also have a 1992 Scott ht, with unishock fork ;) still mint ;)

STEER CLEAR of their modern DH frames, a.k.a octane etc...

tin can thin downtube...big price..
Does the Unishock still top out and bottom out metal to metal? :)

Had a riding buddy in college bend the fork back at the crown and stuff his tire inbetween the frame and the crank rings..... We bent it back as much as we dared and then spun it around but it was still pretty vertical....it didn't track very well after that. :D

Yeah friction dampers get a bad rap.

Rhino has owned:
1- SR Duotrac Friction spring with elastomer bottom out/2nd stage bumper. :D
2- RS Quadra 10 Friction w/elastomer spring(solid stone in freezing temps)
3- Answer ProForx LT Friction with spring and elastomer staged springs.
4- Judy TT100 Friction with a noodle of a rubber spring

Rhino knows Friction
