Anyone have any insight to the Gary Fisher Cake 2 Deluxe?

Seems like the Cakes are/were plagued by chainsuck issues.

And N8 the Race Day is definitely not modeled after the Cake. It is a simple single pivot bike that is designed to be light and raceable, Hence the name.

Nope, now you have surpassed Brian, and I didn't think THAT was possible!


I read about the chainsuck issues, but... that seems kind of odd. If you adjust your stuff correctly, wouldn't that be a moot point?

Yeah I had a Sugar for while and in addition to the periodic chainsuck (that I solved with a better crankset), too long top tube for me, and IMO way too active suspension (read bob) I was not a fan of the design.
