I am getting a faint haze on the black ano finish like the dirt just wont come all the way off.

anyone else have this? or do you know what I can use to rejuvinate the black look rather than having a charcoal grey/black look?

I finally got around to cleaning my bike a few weeks ago, and after I was done I was thinking the same thing. After looking around my garage a bit, I came across some car polish in a spray bottle. I used some of that on my frame and now the finish is a beautiful satin BLACK.

I see by your avatar that maybe you have a Yeti? Be careful what you use on your frame, as Yeti does not put a clear coat over the painted logos of their anodized frames.

I have a black ano Yeti and have experienced the haze. I'm happy though as long as the mud is gone so I guess I'm no help.

Simple Green worked for me, too...but that might just have been dust removal.

When I worked for a custom Ti frame shop, we polished all of our frames with lemon Pledge. It really makes the bike look good and it helps keep new dirt from sticking.

thanks folks, You have given me some options.... I have always used Mothers carnuba wax on my painted and powdercoated frames but on the little section of frame that I tried it on, it gave a SUPER UGLY HAZE! so I figured I would see what others are using!

thanks,

and Blue, we use bike lust in the shop, but I was reluctant to use it on this finish, glad to hear it works I will try it and some others on less visible areas!

PS.... SS.... I was actually looking for something to help shed dirt etc.;)
