Depends. If its a good, complex and tasty beer, I love hops. If it feels like the brewer just shoved 2-3x as many hops into a bottle, then nope. A lot is good, but more isn't necessarily better...
And my true beer-love is a tasty porter or oatmeal stout.
I'm Anti-anti-IPA. Those people should be rounded up and shot, at least neutered.
I am banning anyone who replies to this thread in the affirmative.

I like my beer to have the @#$! hopped out of it...for no good reason.
Beast Ice isn't a substitute for IPA. Think of it as a substitute for bottled water that is cheaper and gets you drunk.

I am not a huge IPA fan. I'll drink some now and then, but it is pretty low on the list.
Hops for the sake of hops is just a fad, much like tight jeans, fixies and PBR. Enjoy your bandwagon, sheeple.
I love hops but I like a complex beer even more. For a while I was of the mindset that more hops was good, too much was better. Now I'm really getting into more balanced beers, I still love a good hop overload every now and then but the novelty has worn off for the most part. I wouldn't say that I'm anti-IPA though, it's still my go-to beer.

I like hoppy beers but the "just toss a bunch of hops in and let it punch you in the face beers" don't compare to a beer where they cultivate the hoppyness to bring out more of the aromatic and complex flavors. Smuttynose is a punch you in the face beer. had a hopsecutioner last night and it was lovely.
I hate IPA.
That's one of the reasons Sq-Earl & I get along so well. He LOVES the IPAs and drinks them all first while I savor the Porters & Stouts and have the occasional IPA (when I can steal them away).
