Used to drive 'em way back in the day when I did alot of warehouse work. I've driven the little propane powered ones, the bigger diesel ones and the cheesy narrow isle fork lifts. I found the narrow isle lifts to be the sketchiest. Can't tell you how many times I bicycled those damn things! (One guy I worked with actually tipped one over. Luckily, he didn't get hurt, fired yes, but not hurt.) I got pretty good at putting 'em where most other guys couldn't though.
yes, actually i have gone through forklift training/safety school and am fully certified. actually i am liscensed as an operating engineer too.. for backhoe, payloaders and such
That would be a trip, i doubt i'll ever climb in one of those beasts. Unless the apocolypse hits of course, then that'll be one of my personal picks for plundering.
