The biggest part of it is to gain a little momentum and start understanding what the puzzles require to solve them. Don't be discouraged, just look for some hints on the deathball website forums and start figuring out what to look for.

Yeah - finally got past 32. Thanks for the hint! I've lost a little steam so I've only made it to 37 thusfar.

I think there are a total of 138 levels.

edit: by the way, I haven't run into a puzzle yet that required any kind of knowledge of TV shows or movies. And only one that required any real knowledge of music, but it wasn't particularly obscure.

You've obviously not tried the game, then, since some of us are both enjoying it and figuring out a few puzzles here and there. At least most of them have to make sense if people are figuring them out.

Give it a shot, you might decide you like it...

I did give it a shot, but the only one I could get was levles 2 and 3, but after that, the farther I went(by Cheat), the less they made sense...

All of the user names and passwords make sense if you actually try and solve it. If you just look at the answer, then no, it won't make a damn bit of sense.

The last levels we've been working on have been nasty... We're on level 80 now. I think I know how to solve it but it's going to be a pain and take some time, so it's on the back burner right now .

You don't need a good computer to do any of the levels

My girlfriend and I quit on level eighty-something since I took on a second job. We'll finish when I have more time.

Haven't been playing lately, but I should pick it up again -- after the vast amount of homework I have to finish. I think I made it to level 16... Luckily I've saved all of the past keys 'n such, so it won't be too much trouble going back up to where I was.
