Hey are you cutting down a red one for your s7? I used 3/4 of a yellow one in my comp side and the other 1/4 in my rebound and I weigh 210 now and it rides like a cadillac, a little more oil and it resists bottoming.
I was thinking of using one boxxer red spring and stratos black spring on the rebound side and leave the compression side empty. Not exactly sure if it'll be stiff enough or if the weight savings will actually be worth the hassle of doing this.
Yeah I weigh 210 and the red would have been way to stiff with the black springs, from what I can gather teh black springs are the final ones to compress. I took both black springs out. I don't know what your setup is but my compression leg has 3/4 of a yellow boxxer spring in it, then I stuck the remaining 1/4 that I cut off into the rebound leg to replace the black on that side and it rides perfect and cycles buttery smooth.
Do you think the Stratos black springs are stiffer than the red boxxer spring??? At that point I'd try putting all black springs on one side and leave the other side empty.
