Its extremely easy, I just got 2, one for my 4x and one for my DJ. Check out Fox's service documents on their site, give instructions. You need 2 30mm spacers (available through FOX) to reduce it down to 100mm of travel. Very easy and highly reccomended.

Takes about 30 minutes to do with basic tools and shock oil

Awesome, thanks for the fast response. Figured it couldnt be too hard. Ill get one one the way... I think ill get 3 30 mm spacers and cut one in half to get down to 85mm or so.

Yeah I am not sure how low it can go, but they operate really well lowered down. I cannot wait to get mine bolted to my bikes

Post a pic and a review of it when you slam it that low, interested to hear about it as I am considering doing that to my one on my DJ bike

Will do. I still need to calculate the A/C when lowered to that height. Its going to be on the front of my new Fall Guy and I need to keep it low and steep. Ive run it with the 409, Z1 and 4X with the 4x being my favorite.
