i didnt paddle this weekend, but i did do an adventure race last weekend
peddle, paddle, persevere was the motto of the race promoter.
our 2 man team took 2nd in 2 man category and 4th overall for all sport categories. the 3 teams that beat us all scored 2 additional check points (bonus time for each point) whereas we only scored one and still only finished 6 minutes out of 1st place.
next year we are doing the asylum course, are going to wear the dark side of the moon prism jersey and our team name is going to be Lunatics on the Grass

Westy, the boating around here is TOP NOTCH! We have excellent creek boating and some great big water waves like the upper Gauley and the likes. This fall was excellent rainfall wise and the creeks and rivers were up and and moving fast. I'm currently boatless and barely got to go out this year, but I've been on the hunt for the perfect boat at the right price all winter.
