Can't say enough good things about this frame!:thumb: I've got mine built up pretty heavy (33lbs), but I know of a few that came in at 27lbs! The thing climbs excellent, descends great and can take a BEATING!!! :D

My next frame will most likely be a Joker, but I'm in no rush to say adios to the Isis. It actually just turned 1 year old last month, but it already has a few thousand miles on it and has outlived countless parts, including a few of my bones!;)

PM me if you have any specific questions.

Later.

Thanks for the bumpage spincrazy, and the report from VTinCT.

I have heard the the Marins and the Ellsworth are mad in the same factory in OR, the only reason that I dont try the Marins are there standover clearance is higher according to there web site, they list it at about 30" and the Ellsworth is at about 28.5". Not much of a difference, Damm these short legs, might of been able to save a few dead presidents! Another reason thou to buy the Isis or Joker is the Romic shock, and Im not sure about the Marins warr. compared to the Ellsworth's warr.. If I were to buy a new frame probably the Joker would be the best buy, just by getting the smaller stroke shock you will have two bikes, but I found a 02 Isis for about $850.00 with a Romic shock, so I might buy it for now.

It seems that 4" of travel is still enough to handle good in the rough stuff.:monkey:

Dude, unless you're constantly dropping big stuff, the Isis will not let you down! I'd stay to the 4'-5' level....above that you'll see me on a bigger bike!;) Just take a look at what you'd normally ride.

I deffenetly want to try one, the only other bike that I still wonder about is the XCE Turner, its seems to be one of the best, but is it worth, or does it ride about 600. or more dollars better than the Isis? Probably not, but still temps me.

The more I think about the Isis, the more exicted I get, time for a shower:D

but what about the XCE...........Hmmmm:confused:
