Feeler here, but is anyone interested in a house for Rent in Teton Valley?
It’s a sweet house.
Thinking less than 3000 Per month. (there are currently bidding wars for rental houses).
2000 sq feet, 2br with loft, 3 bath. Two car garage with heated workshop, 2.2 acres, fenced yard, pets ok. Wood stove if you are into that. Plumbed/padded/220v for a hot tub if you wanted one. New metal roof.
At the base of the pass (7 miles or so to the Glory boot pack/Top of Fuzzy Bunny)
Incredible Mt. Bike trails from the house.
Miles of groomed Fat Bike trails from the house.
24 miles to Jackson Hole Resort, 23 to Grand Targhee.
Prefer a small family.
Available ~Oct. 1. 1 year lease.
2 people 2 pet maximum unless you have a kiddo.
personal bike guiding services included.

If you had offered this up in May I could have gotten my boss on board. Probably. Wifey said she'd totally do it. Ugh. Stupid having a job.

It's in victor?
Id take it for one prime month. No BS.
We are only interested in long term renters. Wifey is opposed to the short term rentals taking over housing for locals, and puts her money where her mouth is. We could probably get 10,000 a month with VRBO or what have you, she says no way. She wants kids in the neighborhood.

Yes, this is a Rental.
I hope to retire there.
And woo, compared to just 12 miles away, this is a steal.
and the asking price is just a starting point.
SFR’s here on the Wyoming side rent for $5k a month and up currently.

My impression from my trip to the Tetons was that the mountains were spectacular, but Jackson needs to be cleansed by fire. After 6 days in the backcountry and the last two surviving on whatever food we really didn't want to eat the first four. We decided to push through Jackson on empty stomachs rather than deal with the crowds of revving Harley's on the way to Sturgis and trophy wives sporting overpriced western wear.

It probably wasn't that bad, but after a week in the wilderness the contrast was unbearable.
Well, this house isn’t in Jackson, it’s insulated from a lot of the bullshit.

if you had space to put a furnished camp tent and a port a john in a backyard within a hour of jackson...you could probably have it booked 90 percent of the year....

Are you planning to buy this and then rent it, or do you already own it?
