So why is it that the Americans have had such a hard time the last few years? Is it the teamwork aspect of it? I can't believe it has anything to do with match vs stroke play. I wonder if the europeans have an advantage because so many of them play in the states, but so few americans play in Europe (aside from the brittish open).
