DUDE! You know I'll be staying with ya! But I think I might have to either borrow or rent a bike, because I don't think I'll have enough money to build up the sinister in time for nationals! I hope I can get the bike built up.

Hey bro, what's your name? Anyways, are you gonna drive up Friday night, the 16th? If so, could I ride up there with ya? I'll pitch in gas money! Let me know mang! I'm gonna be stayin with Lovebunny at his place up there. Alright catch ya later!

Dude, I need ways to make money so I can buy the frame($1200), the fork($350), and whatever parts that I can't get. I need to find a company(ies) that I can build a website for and make about 2 g's. That's really the only skills that I possess besides bike handling skills! The navy pays me jack ****, so my paycheck's are consumed by the few bills that I have.
Build a website that show cases your sites building skills and then market the S**T out of it to business owners, stay at home mom, real estate agents, service sector, financial planners, etc. Start calling people and say "Hey I'm the shiznit web site builder for shizel my nizel. You know you want some of my dizel." Bam 2K in your pocket. You can make lots of money.
LMAO hahaha yeah I'm in the process of making a website for my freelance work, but it's hard with working on my personal website, the AMBP website, my ship's website and soon hopefully, the Southridge Racing website. But I'll be talking to Donny Jackson about that, some more at the Nationals. If I got some projects that would pay, I would sit back on my personal website and ship's website(since it's already done, and I'm just tinkering with it now).

Orvan and Conrad are right. There really is tons of money to be made on the web. I have a little venture going on where I sell web hosting. I don't put any effort into it and it pays for all of my personal web space including the AMBP stuff. The thing about it is that you really need to put time into it and you need to advertise in some way shape or form. Once the ball gets rolling and you start picking up clients you'll eventually be turning them down.
Get a personal/business website going. put contact info and approximate prices. Then put links to the sites you have done. Make some business cards and start handing them out. You'll be surprised at how fast business will pick up.
Orvan has it nailed on the pr0n thing. It's very true that sex sells, especially on the web. If you can handle doing porn websites you'll make a ton of money. if you run porn websites you'll make even more.
And make sure Donny Jackson pays you something! You'll get compensation from AMBP for sure. Don't do them for free. A discount is cool, but not free.
I am in the process of designing a website to put up info, pricing, my portfolio, and all that good stuff. I've been working on a few websites in the past few weeks, as well as trying to find a couple projects that I will get paid for. The Donny will be paying me, we just have not discussed what he wants yet, and any pricing. That'll happen at the nationals. My laptop taking a dump this past weekend doesn't help me at all. It's getting fixed tomorrow, and I'm gonna get all my work off of my hard drive, so that I can work on it on a different comp, until I get mine back.
As for the AMBP site, I was doing that as a volunteer deal, since I new you would need help with that and wanted to help out as much as I could. I also saw it as an oppurtuunity to add to my portfolio so that I can have a decent portfolio for when I brought my freelance biz online. Honestly the satisfaction of helping out our organiztion getting on it's feet and adding another project to my portfolio was and is all the compensation I wanted. I don't see AMBP being able to afford to pay someone for anytime soon, so a free lifetime membership would be cool! lol Besides, I have fun designing websites and graphics, it's what I like to do when I'm not riding my bike or working.

Hey guys here's a link to my portfolio: unfortunately a few of the nicest sites I have designed are still in construction so they won't be on my portfolio for about a week. But here's what i have so far: alex.focalenergy.com/portfolio.htm
I'm looking forward to bringing up the AMBP site this weekend! So check on that as well!
