Calling all owners of 170mm 888 forks!

I'm thinking of buying some within the next few months, but I've got a question...

The Marz site/manuals list the max axle-to-crown height as 575mm. I'm guessing thats with the crowns set to max height (you never know!).

Whats the axle-to-crown with the crowns set to minimum? Can anyone take a measurement for me? Please? Pretty please?...

I have a 170mm 888R.

Mine measures about 540mm axle to crown (center of crown over tire) in the middle of the adjustment position between Low and Max.

This is with a Go-ride Lower crown on. with the stock lower crown, there is at least an inch more of arc than the flat go ride one and depending on where positioned between Low and Max, 575mm could be for real.

I measured mine on the bike from the side,so these numbers are pretty close, give or take 5mm.
With Lowriders set at lowest height=545.
Stock crown should add 25mm
So that adds up to 570 stock,at lowest setting.

PS i rode my 05 888 170 RC this weekend at some dirt jumps and mid size drops to tranny and it felt AWESOME! (that's all that is dry in salt lake)I have a 200mm 04 and there seems to be a bit more compression damping for 05.It could be the fact that it ramps up quicker due to the shorter travel.Either way i am extremely pleased with the feel.I have it on my ASX so the travel is even front and rear and it just has this great feeling of being nimble and flickable, but still able to take really hard landings.
I will write a better review when i have more time on it,and will dissassemble it to check out the compression damping holes to see if they changed it over the 04.
