And Bush ran on a conservative platform, yet he's spending more (future) taxpayer dollars than any president in history.

Nobody cares what politicians claim they will do. All we care about is what they will ACTUALLY do. As far as I can tell, Kerry will actually do a better job than Bush.
..what he will do..???

As in what? Remeber that newzie bit from yesterday's NYPost: ..???

"In the Senate, his [Kerry's] record of his constituent services has been lackluster, and most of his colleagues, despite their public support, are hard-pressed to list an accomplishment. Just last fall, a Boston TV reporter ambushed three congressmen with the question, name something John Kerry has accomplished in Congress. After a few nervous giggles, two could think of nothing, and a third mentioned a baseball field, and then misidentified Kerry as "Sen. Kennedy."..."

Do you really need me to answer that?

Precedent. History knows people much better than they know themselves.

N8 do you like your money? Do you have kids? Do you think they will like their money?

Bush is spending my kids money, money they will surely need to buy Phish tickets and weed with when they become whinny leftwingers like me.

So really, don't be naive or coy here, Kerry is a Washington insider. He's proabably not dirty, but he's far from pure. He's a more qualified polititico than Bush.

Bush on the other hand is an avergage dude, who has lost other peoples money like mad in business ventures plus he lied/spun/fabricated/ information that lead us to war. He is an intellectual clod with a penchant for spending. He probably cheats at card games too.

;)

Please post your thoughts on this in the "So Did the President Lie?" thread.
Fack N8 I have been posting information, much of with links to the NY Times, BBC, and High Times for the last year about this. I'm done with discusing the issue as anything other than as the fact it is. What part don't you get?

Read the NY Times today. It talks about it. Go to www.commondreams.org and read some articles that have notation and check there.

Reasearch it a little.

So, let me get this straight then.

You say "Yes, the President was lying to the American public and the World" with respect to the following two statements then?

1. When the President said to the nation that "the mission was to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons program," was the president lying?

2. Was the President lying about Iraq's WMD program becoming an imminent when he said:

"And so we had to act and act now. Let me explain why. First, without a strong inspection system, Iraq would be free to retain and begin to rebuild its chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons programs in months, not years."

Should he be held accountable in some way?
