That guy probably bought a case of those locks. He makes his wife wear one as a belt. His mailbox has got one locking it to a cement-filled car wheel. His grill's propane tank is connected to the deck with one. Even the family dog is kept within a two feet of his piss tree because of those locks!

Or they back up and the pole bends into the hood right before the lock snaps or pulls off the top of the pole.
