I have in my possesion, an iBook G4 that has been dropped. There does not appear to be any physical damage, the monitor is clear, and when I shake the computer, nothing rattles around.
When I turn it on it seems to power up fine & I can hear the HD spin up & it makes the startup tone. It will bring up the startup page where you select the user setting, but before I get a chance to select anything, the screen goes black. It doesn't seem to shut down though, because the power light stays 'throbbing' & I do not hear anything make shudown noises.
Once the screen goes off nothing happens & nothing works. The only way to shut it down is to remove the battery.
Any ideas, suggestions? I know nothing about apples.
TIA
