I raced down in Yreka, CA and then we swung by and camped at Applegate Lake for three extra days of riding. This area features big climbs up to and then along ridgelines.

As if the race wasn't hard enough at 32 miles and somewhere around 5,000' of climbing, I had to worry about this:

Fletcher swimming in the lake.

Collins Trail - there is a Sasquatch interpretive center on the trail!

Climb on - 4.9 miles and 3600' of climbing to the top of the butte.

At the top of Stein Butte.

What was the race, the Humbug Hurryup? Been meaning to get up there and do that one. Not that I can compete anyway, just like riding

Yes, I did the Humbug. Tough course but I loved it.

yea, how were the descents? i like big climbs and big descents. what were the other rides like? also alot of vertical?
