Seriously? WTF... nice job, Apple.I would love it if the watch would work standalone. It would be great to be connected, gps, messages and have the time and then be able to leave the phone at home. It would be a healthy way of leaving the phone at home. Until then not really interesting for me since I still have to bring my phone.
right now that's a technological limitation. in time i suspect we'll see devices like that.I would love it if the watch would work standalone. they wouldn't have been able to hit the form factor they wanted trying to cram an LTE/GSM antenna in there. Even if they could, you'd probably have like 40 minutes of battery life (based on current battery tech).Agree I am sure it will get there it seems strange they would not do it but I there is enough work getting the product off the ground as it is now.
My buddy has the Samsung watch, I still don't see the point. But he also has a $5k Bulova watch that he wears as jewelry.i honestly can't say i know anyone that's all ZOMG I NEED A SMARTWATCH, apple or otherwise. and i have friends that were google glass beta users.
id gladly buy someone's smart watch before a pair of goggle glassesi honestly can't say i know anyone that's all ZOMG I NEED A SMARTWATCH, apple or otherwise. and i have friends that were google glass beta users.
It never surprises me the number of people driving that I KNOW have cars equipped with blue-tooth holding their phones up to their faces like morons.Sooo, will reading messages on your iDerp watch while driving be illegal? Will checking time while driving be now illegal, too?
Nope, put an apple on it and you can charge at least double.Great illustration showing how how features is not the only thing that sells phones.
Two words for you:and itll still be the best model handset sold this year
Yes, but you can get the current, commonplace technology in WHITE.right now that's a technological limitation.
Yes, just like you flip all cars cars and boats you can get your hands onNope, put an apple on it and you can charge at least double.
One time, I did it ONE TIME. You have any idea how many cars/trucks/motorcycles I've had in the last 25 years? Since I average 2 cars a year (I get bored easy), I would say 1 in 50 is a pretty damn good ratio.Yes, just like you flip all cars cars and boats you can get your hands on
Exactly. One time, I did it ONE TIME. You have any idea how many cars/trucks/motorcycles I've had in the last 25 years? Since I average 2 cars a year (I get bored easy), I would say 1 in 50 is a pretty damn good ratio.

I believe we have an example of misunderstanding between CBJ and JD.Exactly.
If only I ever made money on any car I sold...CBJ is using 'flip' in reference to buying something and later selling it for a higher price, like glitterboi's doing with his pizza ovens.
There is a Freudian slip somewhere in their arguments.Considering that CBJ is a non-native english speaker from a 3rd world country and that JD is testy about being constantly reminded about wrecking his car, I thought it was important to clear this up to avoid butthurt.
The 1 year old Note 3 is lighter at 5.9 vs 6.1 oz (Note 4 is 6.2) and about the same thickness (.3 vs .28"). The Note 3 is the same width and shorter at 5.9 vs 6.1". So yeah, The Verge is stupid - either they're all big or they're not.Hold in one hand and use with one hand are different. Also I bet the thickness and weight are different, too.
But you flipped one with probably the lowest center of gravity. You are just really that none of the others rolled. One time, I did it ONE TIME. Which means Steve Jobs was clearly wrong and missed out for Apple - people have wanted bigger screens for years.6 Plus sold out until some time in November already. People want to find out on their own its too big.
Dude - is that Reign-X still for sale? Hasn't it literally been YEARS?Which means Steve Jobs was clearly wrong and missed out for Apple - people have wanted bigger screens for years.
But it also runs out of battery."Hey baby my dick is as big as an iPhone 6"
So...not as big as the other guy's dick two years ago?"Hey baby my dick is as big as an iPhone 6"
