a gigantic facepalm. Congress left town this week to recess and start their campaigns. We have no approved budget resolution and will likely need a continuing resolution to keep the country running. All kinds of legislating that needs to be done, but in the vein of continued Congressional silliness, like the baseball trails, and the Colbert immigration hearings, they topped themselves by passing this remarkable and course changing bill:
